The Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) assists Victoria’s tourism, events and hospitality businesses to access industry support and resources.
An extensive range of business support resources have been collated to help businesses navigate the current business environment. Consolidated and developed in collaboration with industry experts, these business support resources aim to meet business’s immediate needs, providing guidance and up-to-date information.

Tourism Tribe
Tourism Tribe is a peer-to-peer community of tourism operators, industry and digital experts in a supported learning environment. Tourism Tribe is to helping tourism businesses stay up-to-date with changing technology and business opportunities in an ever-evolving tourism sector.

Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC)
Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) is the peak industry association for the Australian inbound tourism industry sector. ATEC is member-based organisation and offers range of benefits, services and resources for those working in the tourism export industry.
ATEC is a leading trainer, specialising in national tourism distribution and has developed a tourism training hub with a range of training modules, webinars and other resources. These resources will help you to become inbound trade-ready and better understand international market requirements. These resources are openly accessible, but with differential costs depending on whether you are an ATEC member.
Tourism Collective
Based in South Australia, the Tourism Collective is a group of multidisciplinary tourism professionals operating as a collective. The Tourism Collective works with a range of clients nationally building the capability of these visitor economy businesses and organisations. Western Melbourne Tourism has worked in partnership in its former guise as the Tourism eSchool.

Online VTIC Tourism Skills Training
The Victorian Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) has partnered with Typsy to offer Victorian tourism operators a free micro-credentialing program that provides fundamental customer service, hospitality and tourism skilling solutions. With over 1800 online lessons for the tourism, events and hospitality sector! New Victorian content was added in early 2024.
VTIC Melbourne Tourism Leadership Program
The vision of the Melbourne Tourism Leadership Program is to develop leaders from across the industry who have passion and drive. The primary focus is on giving people the emotional intelligence tools they need to be more effective leaders.
QTF Accreditation
A great business development tool – the Quality Tourism Framework (QTF) provides businesses with the necessary online tools and resources to ensure best practice management, customer confidence and ongoing sustainability.
