Enjoy free outdoor music performances from some of the country’s finest artists – consider it a music festival in your own backyard. Right here in Melbourne’s west!

Come prepared with a rug and a picnic and enjoy the free music and an easygoing outdoors vibe.

The Mad Hatters
Sunday 13 January from 2pm to 5pm at Commonwealth Reserve, Williamstown
The Mad Hatters are bringing live electro-swing, funky-jazzy house and soul to Williamstown.

Big T and Band
Saturday 19 January from 4pm to 6pm at McCormack Park, Laverton
Laverton will come alive when New Zealand born X-Factor contestant Big T and his band perform infectious pop tunes.

Darren Middleton + Alice Skye
Sunday 20 January from 2pm to 5pm at Commonwealth Reserve, Williamstown
Australian rock royalty Darren Middleton (Powderfinger) is joined by indie darling and triple j favourite Alice Skye for acoustic sessions. Enjoy a soundtrack of beautiful songs and rich melodies on a Sunday afternoon. We’re bringing the music to the waterfront at Commonwealth Reserve, look for us at the waters edge between the Seaplane and the ferry landing, come early and enjoy the day in Williamstown, markets start at 11am, music starts at 2.30pm, Nelson Place all day!

The Logan Two

Enjoy the acoustic stylings and haunting vocals of The Logan Two when they serenade listeners at beautiful waterfront Williamstown.

Boom Crash Opera

Saturday 9 February from 4pm to 7pm at Logan Reserve, Pier Street, Altona
Australian favourites Boom Crash Opera take to the stage in Altona this summer performing their 80s and 90s hits plus more. They’re joined by young indigenous singer/songwriter William Bloom whose earthy roots and soulful voice will inspire, and children’s favourite Teeny Tiny Stevies will entertain the whole family.

Saturday 16 February from 4pm to 6pm at Homestead Run Reserve, Seabrook
Get ready to party! Melbourne’s best live retro band Countdown 80s will be bringing all the hits from the 80s to Hobsons Bay.
